It goes without being said that we hear many prophetic words coming out of the United States and we hear so little about Canada. I believe this is due to a lack of understanding and maybe just not taking the time to hear what God has on His heart. Distractions are the enemy to time well spent. I decided this afternoon to read the Word of God beginning with the book of Daniel. I read from Daniel Chapter 8 all the way to the end of the book. It astounds me how we can read things many times and not really HEAR or SEE them. Daniel is one of few Bible characters that rarely ever got off track when it came to a relationship with God. He was a man who loved God. It was nothing for him to take the time and seek out God’s counsel . In return for this humility, God used him. He gave him great understanding, wisdom and visions of the future. I find the Father needs someone He can trust in order to do this. When He knows they are His true friend.
Daniel saw and heard many great things. He saw visions of the future, pictures of things that would come to pass. He saw angels and had them explain things to him. But the greatest vision he got to see was Jesus in Chapter 10. Daniel’s description of a man clothed in linen, his loins girded with gold and eyes that burned like torches matches John’s description of the Son of Man in the book of Revelation. How amazing it is for an individual to see the Messiah before He would come to the earth. How amazing it is to know that we can see more and greater things than these. Why is it that the Body of Christ is afraid of these very same gifts and honors? Jesus said so Himself that we would do greater things than He.
We must walk in the Spirit, see in the Spirit and hear in the Spirit for it is the true place and is more real than this physical realm. Like Daniel, that same Spirit that was upon him, is living in me. Like Daniel, I am going to see greater things, experience more wonder and understand greater mysteries. It will not be because of anything I have done but simply because like Daniel, I just want God. I want Him in every aspect of my life. When you give your heart to Him it’s amazing how much more He gives back. Time seems to be a major hitching post for us in North America. We do not like to waste time, time is precious, time is money, time is all we have. Or so we think and have been deceived. Time is actually in God’s hands and He has given it to us to help us manage this physical realm. You can never go wrong when you decide to invest and give your time to God. He will always multiply what you give Him.
Today, I gave God some of my time. I read Daniel with Him, we went over a few verses together, I prayed in the Spirit for a little while and then He gave me this word because I ASKED and wanted to know what was going to happen here in Canada. This is what He told me.
Word of the Lord as received:
Thus says the Lord, I have heard the supplication of My servant just as I heard Daniel. For many years and much time, I have been seated and watching from afar. I have groaned and mourned My beloved who has turned her face away from Me and chased after her own lusts and desires. She has abandoned Me, she has scorned Me and has found reproach with Me. She has distastefully flirted and fraternized with many lovers and many nations. Like a woman who moves across the land from one house to another, Canada, has tried to appease her abusive lovers. She craves acceptance and yearns for protection but she will not find warmth in another’s arms.
She has rejected her true love and in doing so she has become weak, untruthful and absurd in My eyes. I see her folly and AM displeased. Like the woman who is passed from man to man she has been beaten, her pockets pilfered and rendered empty. In her appeasement, she wears many masks and tries to wear them all at once but she has rendered herself ugly and all those around her know and spurn her. They know her smiles are lined with lies, she has become deceitful in her age and lust. Her eyes flicker with greed and she cannot be satisfied.
But in these last years, she has been bound. She has met with a malicious force that refuses to release her. He will torment her, stripping her of all her parts one by one. First, her eyes will be plucked out then her tongue cut out and she will be completely useless and ineffective. This darkness will try to wrestle her to the ground until she submits and it will do so by force with brutal and unimaginable schemes until she is unrecognizable. A woman who has been used and laid in the streets to die.
This My child is a picture of the future that would have happened. A sad future of your nation without hope. But like Daniel and those like his fellow brethren I have planted leaders, kings, priests to stand and intercede.
I have heard your prayers and supplications. My heart is moved and I have already forgiven this nation because you forgave her. Your heart is in the right place, humble one. You shall dream dreams and see visions just as your ancestors have. A mighty and bold line you shall continue. A line of leaders and way changers. Nations shall turn to you for advice. Princes and leaders shall look to you to uncover the mysteries that I have set before them. You shall be exalted above all others because you have shown to be a trustworthy friend. You put Me first and seek My Kingdom. Well, done!
As for your nation…because you have asked I shall give. Because you have forgiven I shall forgive. Your nation shall be strong once again. A force of the north to be reckoned with. Her deeds shall be great and renowned in all the land. No longer will she be passed from man to man with a face of many masks. She shall return to her first love and remain loyal to Him forever.
She shall not barter with evil deceit. She will not lust after empty meaningless titles and words. She shall uphold My Laws and be strong in her faith. Another she will not follow but she shall only have eyes set on Me. She shall love and honor Me and make obeisance to Me.
I love her dearly and because I love her I shall correct her folly. I will cleanse the sores on her body. They will sting but bring healing. I will soothe the blisters and bruises with oil and bandage all her wounds. I will wrap My arms around her in loving kindness and tender-mercy. Her scars shall disappear and once she has healed the bandages shall fall to the ground.
She shall stand strong and be on her guard. A wind of change blowing through her hair. I will crown her with might and power and the rod she shall administer authority. Like a mother to her children, she shall give and give. Resources, nourishment and bounty of love shall flow from her.
Do not be fooled by her quiet and peaceful ways. She is a force to be reckoned with. I will arm her with a shield and buckler like no other. Her feet shall be guarded and tread in the desolate places like no other. Her head shall be helmed in strength and fortitude but she shall possess the most alluring wit and grace. Like a harmless serpent she shall strike at any moment to those that would dare threaten her or those she loves. Her right hand shall bear arms, a spear that is mighty and great. The left shall bear peace like an olive branch. Oh, how beautiful she will stand with a bright loyal people.
I will heal your land oh, servant! I will make My light to shine upon you. The darkness shall be exposed and shall burn up in fright. The evil sickness that has plagued her body will I rid and renewed health shall spread throughout the land. My plans and purposes that I have set out will I fulfill. A Canada like no other shall you see.
Do not tremble, neither be timid. Do not even lift a foot to step back but stand with Me. Those who stand shall see My greatness and protection. Those who waiver shall wobble and be cast to the ground. My servant has called out My name. She has asked me and invited Me to My rightful place and I shall take it. A nation under God that recognizes Me and My law for that is what you shall see.
Be not afraid for those who would deceive. For those that spout nonsense, stir pots, and clang symbols. Their efforts are useless and simply an irritation to the ear. They will hear My Voice and it shall roar like thunder and cause them to run, scatter and shake in their itty-bitty booties. Those that still have the gull to defy Me and point a self-righteous finger I will show them My power! I will cause them to be flat on their faces in fear of Who I AM. Like Pharaoh, they defy and harden their hearts but I will take away their precious first-borns. I will take away their schemes, platforms, money, ploys, seats of authority. I will take away what is most precious to them to help them see it is nothing more than a garbage heap. They have chased falsity through nicety and have come to the end of their rope. They dangle before Me naked and without pretension.
Some shall repent but many shall hate and revile Me. Like wounded, pathetic animals they scatter and howl at Me licking their wounds. I will be far from them and will not have to lift a finger for they will rend one another apart. They will devour each other, cursing one another to the place of Sheol.
A new light shall arise. A beacon like that of a lighthouse. It shall call the ships to harbour once again at port. This light shall be mighty and bright. At its core shall I reside. It will clear a path to avoid the traps of the enemy and dangerous rocks. The ships shall come home at last and reside with Me forever.
I will rain down My Mercy on this nation. I will pour out My Love and Joy. She shall rise and be mighty in My eyes. I will cleanse her of all impurity. I will clothe her in righteousness and justice shall be close to her heart.
A covenant shall I make with her. A promise I have made. To never forsake, to always forgive and make ready for her My embrace. Like a loving Father I have watched her grow up. I have watched her in beauty, in sickness, in rejection and in hate. Now she is returning to Me. Healing restoration will I bring. A place like no other will she be.
Do not worry, My little children, neither be dismayed. Take My hand and we shall cross from darkness into light. A wind of change has blown through and with it embers have ignited and scattered across the land. It is catching fire and growing. You will see the signs of smoke, you will hear talk and rumors. When the time is right, all of a sudden there shall be a blaze of fire like no other! Greater than the pillar, greater than the hail! Like waves of liquid fire it will take over nations, purify them and in the ashes new life will grow. Healthy trees and plants will be revived as the old, stinking, dry brush was burned.
I will douse this nation with My Spirit and like gas upon dry wood ignite it into a New Era! An Era of greatness! An Era of peace! An Era of might and power!
I will tear down the dark places. Uproot the corrupted ones and smoke out the hiding darkness. They shall flee and run and be scorched to ash from My Light. Those waiting patiently shall rise and like Darius who took a kingdom overnight so shall My servants take this nation. Her places of authority in government, business, arts and media, and science. They will over-run this place and it shall be called the Great White North for her people shall be cleansed and know My Grace. People from far and wide will try to come and seduce her. They will try to manipulate her but she shall not be moved for I AM her God and another she will not follow.
I AM a jealous Father and I will let no other have her.
This is what I declare and what I declare shall happen. So, let it be written! So, let it be done!
Says the Lord of Hosts. God of the universe, powerful, mighty in all the land. A loving and kind Father, most of all.
